Assalamualaikum wr wt

Sura Maryam verse 41

Bismillah ArRahman ArRahim. Allahumma Rabbana Zidna ilma. Allahumma Rabbana Ihdinas sira talmustaqim. Amma ba’du

We had learned that Isa a.s, was born miraculously, and he was just a man. He said verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore you must serve, submit, pray to Him only, this is the true path.

But christians made him a mediator to Allah.

1. They promote him as the Son of God.
2. They gave him all attributes of a son of God.
3. They do bidaah in zikir to him.
4. By doing so, they had forgotten about the Lord.

The Syiahs do the same for Sy Ali, Hasan, Husin, all their imams . They had forgotten about the Lord. The Habibs also the same, praising Muhammad Rasulullah and saints, forgot the Lord. The Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs and others are also the same. So to Syiahs and Habibs, use verses about christianity, when you met them. You will be surprised if you do. Today’s verses are about Abraham a.s. and the story of him are repeated many times in the Quran.

So why Allah, tells us about Abraham a.s .

It’s about preaching to your parents , friends and fellow countrymen . It is the most important preaching. You became intimidated by them yet Allah still want us to do.

Surah Maryam, Verse 41:

وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا

And mention Ibrahim in the Book; surely he was a truthful man, a prophet.

Allah said onto you all. Also mentioned in the Quran about Abraham a.s, he was a man of truth and a prophet. Abraham a.s were to preach his father, ie his parents, his people and his king. And he was to do it alone. Alone against everyone. And he did just that. Without fear. He just follow what his Lord told him to do. I, when I felt depressed, I will think about Abraham a.s, then I became anew again.

Surah Maryam, Verse 42:

إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَا أَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِي عَنكَ شَيْئًا

When he said to his father; O my father! why do you worship what neither hears nor sees, nor does it avail you in the least:

Remember when he said to his father, after he was burned, O my father! Why do you worship that neither hears nor sees, and can’t profit you anything.

Tafseer

His father was a maker of idols and worship idols that neither hears nor sees, hence can’t answer his dua nor can’t do anything. This was his first introduction to his preaching. So when we preach to Syiahs, Habibs or christians or other relegions, focus on their main beliefs, ie what makes them astray. Don’t answer anything else about us but focus the main issue

Surah Maryam, Verse 43:

يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدْ جَاءَنِي مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَاتَّبِعْنِي أَهْدِكَ صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا

O my father! truly the knowledge has come to me which has not come to you, therefore follow me, I will guide you on a right path:

O my father! To me has come knowledge which has not reach you. Follow me, my teachings, I will guide you to a straight path.

Tafseer.

Knowledge of tauhid to Allah and you don’t know tauhid. Ie I have learned tafseer and you don’t. Since I know and you don’t, just follow my teachings, I will guide you to a straight path.

Surah Maryam, Verse 44:

يَا أَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ الشَّيْطَانَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَصِيًّا

O my father! serve not the Shaitan, surely the Shaitan is disobedient to the Beneficent Allah:

O my father! if you worship idols, you don’t serve satan as Satan is a rebel against Allah ArRahman.

Tafseer

Satan is a rebel against Allah. Don’t serve him. Any worship to anyone is worshipping satan. Any zikir that weren’t from sunnah, are zikir from satan.

Surah Maryam, Verse 45:

يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيًّا

O my father! surely I fear that a punishment from the Beneficent Allah should afflict you so that you should be a friend of the Shaitan.

O my father! I fear that a punishment will be afflicted to you by ArRahman as it’s a shrik to God if you worship idols, by worshipping idols, you will become a friend of satan.

Tafseer

Worshipping idols is worshipping satan, shrik. Zikir which is not from sunnah, zikir from satan. This is a warning. So when you do preaching, always give a warning from Allah if they don’t want to follow quran and sunnah.

Surah Maryam, Verse 46:

قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنْ آلِهَتِي يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ وَاهْجُرْنِي مَلِيًّا

He said: Do you dislike my gods, O Ibrahim? If you do not desist I will certainly revile you, and leave me for a time.

His father shows his disbelief of tauhid. He said to Abraham a.s. Do you hate my gods O Abraham?.

Tafseer

Idols are representation of mediators, like christian worship Isa a.s, saints or angels. His father was worshipping mediators to God, they said. Ie they said that saints or angels are representation of God. If you don’t stop preaching me….I will indeed stone you to the death. so stop Abraham preaching me. Now get away from me for good.

Surah Maryam, Verse 47:

قَالَ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكَ سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّي إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِي حَفِيًّا

He said: Peace be on you, I will pray to my Lord to forgive you; surely He is ever Affectionate to me:

Abraham a.s said. Farewell my father, we can’t give Salam to kuffar. I will pray to my Lord for your forgiveness, for He is to me Most Gracious.

Tafseer

Abraham a.s at this time, don’t know that he can’t ask for forgiveness to a kuffar. It is stated in quran that what Abraham a.s did the promise is only his promise. Allah doesn’t.

Surah Maryam, Verse 48:

وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَأَدْعُو رَبِّي عَسَىٰ أَلَّا أَكُونَ بِدُعَاءِ رَبِّي شَقِيًّا

And I will withdraw from you and what you call on besides Allah, and I will call upon my Lord; may be I shall not remain unblessed in calling upon my Lord.

Abraham a.s said to his father. I will turn away from you all and those whom they worshipped, he went as far as no one worship idols.

Tafseer

Of the years Abraham a.s preach, only 2 had accepted his preaching, his wife Sarah and nephew Luth as. We bestowed on him Issac and his grand son Jacob as.

Tafseer

Allah calm Abraham by giving him a son and can see his grandson..

Surah Maryam, Verse 50:

وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّا

And We granted to them of Our mercy, and We left (behind them) a truthful mention of eminence for them.

And We bestowed of our Mercy on them, made them prophets. We granted them, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob a.s, lofty honor on the tongue of people. Everyone said good things about them.

Sura Maryam, verse 35.

Bismillah ArRahman ArRahim. Allahumma Rabbana Zidna ilma. Allahumma Rabbana Ihdinas sira talmustaqim. Amma ba’du

Before we start the tafseer, u all should know why christian, Allah say that they are kuffar

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 10:

فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللَّهُ مَرَضًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ

There is a disease in their hearts, so Allah added to their disease and they shall have a painful chastisement because they lied.

All kuffar started kufur to Allah, because of doubts about dua. Doubts that Allah won’t accept their dua if they do dua, as they were in sins. That doubts when they practice , Allah made them kuffar. So they said Jesus is the Son of God, not that God gave birth to Jesus as they know God don’t give birth to anyone. So what they meant is God had taken an adopted son. Which means that an adopted son who have a special power.

1. Give blessings/berkat
2. Undertake to bring dua to God
3. Whether it is their sins or their needs.

So they upgrade the status of Jesus to Son of God. Give him special abilities. Give him, worship, do bidaah that Jesus should be worshipped like, this, that way.

In the Quran. .. these mediators are called

1. Walada, take a step son.
2. Aulia, protector, apart from God, someone else can protect.
3. Andaada’, a shared person with Allah, have special power, zumar 8.
4. Arbaaba, a person who share some qualities of God, halal and Haram, can give special zikir or shariah apart from God, Ali Imran 79-80.
5. Aalihatan, Yasin 74, special person or angels that they said who special power apart from God.
6. Inaatha, idols.

All the words above were been translated into idols. So since we don’t worship idols, hence we thinks that we don’t do any shrik to God. They change the meaning of words from quran, as they can’t change the word.

Surah Maryam, Verse 37:

فَاخْتَلَفَ الْأَحْزَابُ مِن بَيْنِهِمْ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن مَّشْهَدِ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

But parties from among them disagreed with each other, so woe to those who disbelieve, because of presence on a great day.

But parties, Al ahzab, between them disputes amongst themselves, one party or group said, we must not worship Jesus as Jesus is only a man, do that, hell. Another group said that worshiping Jesus is true way. So woe/celaka to those who disbelief tauhid, worship , dua only to Allah. On the day of most great, Mahsyar.

Tafseer

One group said worshiping Jesus is true, heaven. Which meant that using Jesus or Isa as mediator is true, heaven. Another group said that by worshiping Jesus or Isa is the most devious of all sins, shirk. Hell

Surah Maryam, Verse 38:

أَسْمِعْ بِهِمْ وَأَبْصِرْ يَوْمَ يَأْتُونَنَا لَٰكِنِ الظَّالِمُونَ الْيَوْمَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ

How clearly shall they hear and how clearly shall they see on the day when they come to Us; but the unjust this day are in manifest error.

The day when they saw jahanam. How clearly is what they hear, all 7 hells were pulled out from it’s place. 70,000 angel per rope and there are 70,000 ropes, pulling each hell to be placed on Mahsyar. How clearly did they hear hell and how sharp are their eyes. The day they came to meet Me. But the sinful, on today, is in a definite error. Yet now , they felt that they in a true path

Surah Maryam, Verse 39:

وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

And warn them of the day of intense regret, when the matter shall have been decided; and they are (now) in negligence and they do not believe.

So you. ..those who learn tafseer and hadith, must warn them, the day of intense regret. When God had decided a judgement in hereafter. While they were today in sins and forget about Allah and quran, Allah decided they became in the group of disbelief.

Tafseer

Now they forget about quran and sunnah Rasulullah, yet they felt that they had done good deeds. Allah put them in the group of disbelief.

Surah Maryam, Verse 40:

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَرِثُ الْأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا وَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ

Surely We inherit the earth and all those who are on it, and to Us they shall be returned.

Surely We will inherit the earth, and all those who are on it.

Tafseer

We will surely die. All our deeds whether good or bad deeds, Allah will inherit, meaning. He will bring our deeds to us to be judged. So whether u do good deeds or u don’t, only to Us they all will be returned.

Wabillahitaufiq walhamdulillah hirabbil alamin

Aa’uzubillah himinssyaitonirrajim. Bismillah ArRahman ArRahim. Allahumma Rabbana Zidna ilma. Allahumma Rabbana Ihdinas sira talmustaqim. Amma ba’du.

Well we had learned that Maryam had a son Isa as, and she did a vow not to speak to anyone that day. She was bringing her son back to Al Aqsa.

Bear in mind that she had just had her son that day. Prophet Zakariya as, don’t know she was pregnant and was away, delivered a son. If he did know then there will a verse about that. So Zakariya a.s. don’t know. This was what happened. Please read carefully what I tafseer. Ask me anything when I write any questions.

Allah subhanahuwataala said onto you all

Surah Maryam, Verse 27:

فَأَتَتْ بِهِ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُ قَالُوا يَا مَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْئًا فَرِيًّا

And she came to her people with him, carrying him (with her). They said: O Marium! surely you have done a strange thing.

So she came to her people while carrying him Isa/Jesus , with her. Her people means, her relatives living by masjid Al Aqsa.. and also other jews. They said. O Maryam ! Now you have done something mungkar., they meant she had done zina. This accusation , is still a belief of Jews till today.

Surah Maryam, Verse 28:

يَا أُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا

O sister of Haroun! your father was not a bad man, nor, was your mother an unchaste woman.

O sister of Haroun!, not prophet Haroun brother of Moses, just a name of her brother. Your father was not a playboy. I like to use terms that we used in our conversation as we can know the meaning. Nor your mother is a playmate. A woman who do sex with any one.

Surah Maryam, Verse 29:

فَأَشَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ قَالُوا كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِي الْمَهْدِ صَبِيًّا

But she pointed to him. They said: How should we speak to one who was a child in the cradle?

Maryam were told not to speak to anyone. Allah will answer and she did not what to do. So she pointed to him, Isa or Jesus. Of course, that became an insult to them. They said, How can we speak to someone who is a baby?. You do sex with someone while pretending to be a good Muslim while you were alone in the masjid. Now you want us to believe you.

Meanwhile Isa a.s. were in her mother’s arms, from tafseer Qurtubi, he step down from his mother, sit and said.

Surah Maryam, Verse 30:

قَالَ إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ آتَانِيَ الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيًّا

He said: Surely I am a servant of Allah; He has given me the Book and made me a prophet;

He Isa a.s. said. Surely I am a servant of Allah.

Tafseer

Jews said he was not a prophet as her mother was sinful. Christian said his the son of god. Both accusations were wrong as Isa a.s. said his is a servant of God.

Allah gave me a book, Bible.

Tafseer

Whether Bible was given to him while he was still a baby, is a big debate among ulamas. But bible was indeed sent in full. Not like Quran, in stages for 23 years. Torah was delivered in full and written on tablets. Zabur or plsams were delivered in full but not written like bible

And Allah made me a prophet, not a son of God. He was made a prophet while he was a baby, is also a big debate amongst scholars.

Surah Maryam, Verse 31:

وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا

And He has made me blessed wherever I may be, and He has enjoined on me prayer and poor-rate so long as I live;

And Allah made me blessed wherever I may be.

Tafseer

1. He was blessed as he was a prophet
2. He was blessed as he did preaching /tabligh.
3. Allah gave him blessing.

So , Christian said to Jesus. O Jesus, bless me, that’s shirk. So, if we say to Nabi pbuh, Ya Rasulullah, give me blessing, that’s shirk also. Christian said to the priest, O father, bless me, shirk. We say to imams, ustaz. O ustaz bless me, also shirk.

And Allah instuck me to pray to God, similar to our solat but different syariah. And give alms/zakat as long as I am alive. Similar shariah.

Surah Maryam, Verse 32:

وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَتِي وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا

And dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me insolent, unblessed;

And to be dutiful to my mother, as he doesn’t have a father. And He has not made me an arragant man and disobedience to Allah and my mother.

Surah Maryam, Verse 33:

وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا

And peace on me on the day I was born, and on the day I die, and on the day I am raised to life.

And peace be upon me on the day I was born and on the day I die and on the day I am raised to life.

Surah Maryam, Verse 34:

ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ قَوْلَ الْحَقِّ الَّذِي فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ

Such is Isa, son of Marium; (this is) the saying of truth about which they dispute.

That’s Isa bin Maryam. this is, the saying of truth, about him. He was just a man, Allah said. But yet they dispute.

Tafseer

They said he was the son of God. A prophet that they can use as mediator to Allah. That’s shrik
